Engine OBD-II Trouble Code P0015 & P0760

Q: I have an 08 BMW 328xi at around 150,000KM. The Service Engine Light recently came on with an error code P0015. This has also happened once before, but I didn't know the specific trouble code at that time. Anyway, I sometimes sense slight stuttering when temperature is low and at low speed (30km-40km). What could be the issue here?

A: P0015 is a trouble code for Cam Position Sensor, or Vanos Solenoids actuator. In our experience, this trouble code goes away when we clean these two parts, but other times they would need to be replaced.

Q: I have a 02 Honda Accord Coupe EX at around 120,000KM. I recently got an diagnostic code PO0760, what is the problem? Also, I was recommended to replace all four struts. I have no issue driving the vehicle at the moment.

A:OBD-II P0760 means the shift solenoid C may be malfunctioning, but not severe enough to the drivability of your vehicle yet. You will need to inspect the following: 1) Check your transmission fluid and filter, 2) Check the Solenoid C's connection to see if it is loose or requires replacement, 3) Take it to a transmission specialist for further diagnosis. Regarding the struts, if you push down hard at each side of your vehicle, and it does not "bounce" back up, then the struts are still firm enough and do not need replacement.
